Born and bread in the “Dirty Water”, Jeff Comeau has worked his way up through Connecticut’s music scene paying his dues and honing his craft in such bands as BC’s Electric Blues (along side legendary sax player Judd Watts of The Five Satins), Urban Peace and the Kiss tribute band Love Gun, in which he was a founding member and played the part of Ace Frehley. “Ace is the reason I started to play guitar … ” “I thought he was a superhero and wanted to be that…”
However, his love for the blues has led him in the direction of a more Southern style of guitar playing in recent years. He draws inspiration from such influences as Billy Gibbons, Warren Haynes and Rich Robinson. Jeff also sings lead vocals in Mason West and taps into the smokey, bluesy side of his voice. “A Les Paul, Marshall amp and a sip of bourbon and I’m a happy man”, he says.
Always in the mood to Rock n Roll… Comeau, as he is called, encourages all who see The Mason West Band to join in and shake a tail feather…. See Y’all at the next gig!
